A nice comprehensive list! How comforting it will feel to stick a fleet on a planet and know that it is a working choke point smiley: smile

I think that the AI fleet poping is linked to difficulty and in some way to dust management. As they have tweaked/improved that, maybe this AI behaviour will be fixed or reduced.

I thought the remaining races had been stated clearly in the past as definite "Release races"?



That aside, some nice changes there though it would be nice if a bit more information could be given on some of the changes such as "Modified the values of weapon mods. All accuracies have been changed." or "Modified the values of defense mods. Weapon X against Defense X has still a chance to deal damage.".

I don't think there is one. I do like the idea though, just as I'm still not bored with the battle cinematics.

All of that no use at all, of course... could as well have been statistics in a list.

The list is a good start most of which was badly needed.

However I couldn't help but wonder what use rotating ships in 3D in the design screen really has beyond eye candy?

this is a very nice list But has anyone seen the explore the alpha trailer it has a small easter egg unless i am mistaken. I think i saw a new hero race on :35 when it shows up it kinda looks bug like. is this the next race that will appear on the oncoming patches?

Absolutely fantastic. Other than the battle camera, I'd say just about every issue I had seems to be on that fix list. The AI Fleet/score jump caused my last game to end prematurely. Having that fixed and a way to setup choke points in my empire more than makes up for having to start over though. Way to go Amplitude!

No, if you look close it says "Alpha Hissho VI" which probably designated an unnamed pre-alpha hissho hero. There is a thread somewhere around where a modder disecting save files found some info on the other 3 races, but I can't tell you where it is off hand, or what exactly was said.

You should never count on save game compatibility this early in a release. But, I understand you "can" turn off auto-update in steam. Not sure if it will help, and not good as a long term solution.
