Glad to know my first post here is of some importance smiley: smile . I was convinced by arguments presented in the topic, not my own experience, as I bought the game only few days ago.

BTW, the Games2Gether idea is simply great, Amplitude is going to sit on top of my own list of best developers.

*only read important Stealth_hawk post

i do notice the Sowers is quite......unattractive to play, even first time i try ES, i look at every race ability then the Sowers have something not so right about them.........

i though the Industry to Food will null in the very late game, yes but all those Industrial improvement come very late which will slow down Sowers BIG time on early and mid game.

i have no experience on Sowers since i never bother to try them but i only feel that something not right about them.

i didn't voice out my own voice because i think that's only in my mind until i saw this thread, so yes i join to save Sowers.

*Edit - i forgot the mark, here you go

I'm with you there. Recently one of my friends attempted to play ES. He won't touch the game now, because he started his first game with the Sowers and thought that that was what the whole game was like. I'm still trying to get him to play again.

Wouldn't a blanket +5/+10% approval bonus go along well with the 'tolerant' trait, for planets without/with the right colonization tech? It fits the idea that they can colonize and live pretty much anywhere, and makes early expansion much more desirable. Adds value to the trait, making it more useable, and might change the outlook for the better to the Sowers.

Sadly, the expansion would also need to contain a Millennium Falcon, otherwise the fighter would never make it to the target lol

I vote for abolishing exhaust vents in space ships and instead using radiators to emit infrared spectrum photons to cool whatever shipparts we need to cool. We cannot hide a deathstar, anyways, so why use such idiotic engineering?

And I vote for abolishing bloody obvious weak spots in defences. The whole exhaust vent thing in star wars was so rediculous that it sort of ruined the film i.e. "welcome to the future we're really cliched stupid here"
