It's a pre-set custom faction with the author, name, bio and traits created by the winning member for all to see and play!

We're also working hard on the modding feature, so that going further into customization would be available as soon as possible.

Will there be heroes, pictures, ship design and of what timescales are we talking? Perhaps implementation til the end of the year or so?

Good news!

But what does it really mean? Will the faction's winner(s) have its own design, affinity etc... or will it just be an exemple of what the custom faction editor can do?

Will the winner have to find a compromise with the devs in order to make his faction fully balanced and playable (I hope so)?
