It will also help to avoid erroneous clicks and for some of those times late game where I just kind of start mass queuing things in newly acquired systems.
Yes, this is something I noticed in my first playthrough. Hopefully this will be fixed/patched as I'm sort of a completionist and don't like little icons and stuff floating around in menus, or quests in RPGs that are completed but aren't marked as completed.
