I have stumbled across this game and it looks exactly what i've been looking for. I have looked through thr forum, min specs etc but cant find an answer to my two queries.

1. Is there a demo version availbe? as ideally i'd like it to run on my laptop but it has a low spec graphics card so want to test it first. (will run fine on my desktop tho)

2. Is the game purely turned based view or does it switch to 3d version during battles etc?

I am gutted to have missed the Alpha/beta testing tho! Looks good

1. I dont know of any Demo, so what GPU do you have?

2. There is a 3d Version where you can see the Battles

Laptop has intel express series 4.

Can you choose not to view the battles or turn off the 3d?

How can I upgrade my account if I've purchased the emperor pack on steam to get extra votes?

As far as I understand it ships can earn experience points (ep), which can be increased by battles, buildings on planets where the ships is build or by faction characteristics. How or where can I see how many ep my ship has already earned? I am sorry if this question has already been dealt with somewhere else, but I couldn't find anything on the forum.

Every time I click on invade system, the circle around the system I'm taking over doesn't gradually go around in my colour as it should normally, several turns have passed and it still looks like it did when I first clicked invade system.

Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else had a similar problem?

If you still see the ring partly in your color, but the coverage has not advanced, there are two possibilities. One is, there is an enemy ship there. This prevents invasion from progressing. Even a scout. The other possibility is, the planet has built enough improvements, such as impervious bunkers, that your fleet can no longer hurt it. If the defense strength of these buildings is higher than the invasion MP of your fleet, then no "invasion damage" is done.

It would be nice if the game had hover help for invasions, so you can see these things. We can hope the dev team will add this in a patch soon.

I tried searching, so forgive me if these are a repost.

1. Is there a way to hide fleets from the galaxy map and or the fleet screen? I often have a few defensive fleets that I don't need to see until they are needed.

2. Is there a way of prioritizing ships in combat? I often find in even matches, the enemy fleet will be hevily damages, but suffer no losses, while it seems they focus fire down my ships.

1. You can put ships in the hangar, which is where newly built fleets start. Of course, if they are in the hangar, they cannot use intercept to keep enemy fleets from leaving.

2. No, not yet. Please see the many active discussions of "how to fix combat" in the suggestions forum.

1) I think there's an active thread on your first topic over in the bugs forum. Have you entered your CD Keys into the G2G website yet?

2) A lot of folks - myself included - haven't seen the endless hero yet. Today's patch notes suggest that AI civs were hiring him most of the time, so hopefully that just got fixed. You should have him just for having emperor edition.

*Trades happen automatically with opponents with whom you are at PEACE (barring certain racial picks).

*You can have one trade route with each qualifying empire's systems, but you are limited to only those systems you have scouted.

*If you go into each individual system of yours, the box in the top right indicates how many trade routes the system has going, and how many it can have total. (It'll show as 0/0, 1/2, 3/3, etc.)

**It will also show every trade route, how much dust and research you get, and which system it's with.

*Improving trade routes in a system with no trade routes is a waste of money. 1.2 * 0 is still 0, after all.

**That said, buildings that add trade routes will increase the cap for that system. It's always a good idea to enable a single trade route. If that system then starts trading, THEN go ahead and start building the rest of the trade improvements.

*Your capital starts with two trade routes available (again, barring certain racial picks). To acquire ANY other trade routes, you'll need to build structures to enable them, or train a corporate hero appropriately.

1. I Have. I this site anyway http://www.amplitude-studios.com. Is that the right one? You do note that my point is 1100 but not yet received the award.

2. I've noticed as I read stalking around the forum. I'll check it out in the game immediately

How do I discover the randomly generated seed number of a game I've started and liked?

How do I find out the Criteria for winning while in game?

(Background - Started a game which I like the spawn of, but think Scientific victories may been turned off which is what I'm aiming towards, I know the game would be a loss if it was.)

1) Not sure you can. If it's possible, I have no idea where it is.

2) You know those buttons on the top left that open the various menus? Hover over them. The empire overview includes a section showing your % progress to an economic victory. Tech victories are won by researching the far-right tech, so you can check your status on that one by looking at your tech tree. The diplo button shows your % progress toward both expansion and diplomatic victories, and I believe there is one more shown in one of those buttons' tooltips as well.

Absolutely ridiculous boosts in its FIDS, and it may well get bonus happiness and cheaper production on top of that. I think there's a post around here somewhere that details it. In a nutshell, though at Endless it's impossible to even remotely come close to the AI's level of production. You have to rely on smarter play and much, much better ship designs or you will get steamrolled.
