Here come the Mod you were all waiting for

:

THE ENDLESS MOD, Release 0.0002

PLAY THE ENDLESS MOD

*Note : This is an alpha version, mod is still not fully translated in French nor German. Bugs can happen and game might but it should be rare.

The mod is a very ambitious project aiming for Endless diversity in every aspect of ES and with as many supported language as ES can !

Changelog from Endless Civilizations 0.2 :

-8 brand new planets types (Thanks LogicSequence for its awesome A Galaxy of Endless Diversity mod !) https://www.games2gether.com/endless-space/forum/37-modding/thread/16342-release-a-galaxy-of-endless-diversity

-Endless Genetics mod by ZZGashi adding infinite combinations of traits for your factions ! http://forums.amplitud!e-studios.com/showthread.php?11285-Endless-Genetics&highlight=endless+genetic

-revised affinities and traits of the factions

-many new heroes (15 heroes added and alot more to come )

-Government traits [40traits!] (Monarchy, democracy, oligarchy..) being worked !

ACTUALLY PLANNED WORK :

-Bunch of new heroes (more than 20... in addition to the 15 others !)

-New racial traits for each factions (2 per factions)

-New feature about laws and government incoming !

How to install : (Disharmony needed)

Extract the content in My Documents/Endless Space/Disharmony/Modding*

*Create a Modding folder if not already done

Then launch the game and choose the mod in the list !

The only thing needed for this complex mod pack - this thing /#/endless-space/forum/37-modding/thread/16276-released-alternativ-galaxy-generator. I really love big maps.

And for perfect: /#/endless-space/forum/37-modding/thread/16338-released-colored-anomalies +) it's not critical but very easier to watch on it.

I can add Colored anomalies easily, Galaxy generator is out of my range of modding (but if someone can help me, this would be great !)

About Imperium Aerterna, It would need a lot of time to translate everything done in this mod but why not after all !

Im not sure if is it a good mod, I dont like mods which change to many gameplays features ^^

If its asked enough, I can combine those mods !

When I install the mod I get a lot of broken strings. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or it's installed incorrectly? Could you perhaps give an example of how to correctly install the mod so that this doesn't happen?

I will get screenshots in a moment, saving this post to edit them in. I saw in another thread that validating game files could potentially fix it so trying that.

Edit: Validating files did not fix the issue. I don't have any mods loaded except for yours.

1) This is what it looks like trying to choose a faction:

I haven't found anything else so far, but I stopped playing after the planet thing since I figured the game would be unplayable.

I found one more.

When you attempt to click on one of the broken planets to colonize it or just get more information on it, this screen pops up and the game effectively freezes. The music still plays, and sound still plays, but you cannot leave the screen without exiting the game or force-closing it with task manager.

It seems that the english localization is broken, sorry, I thought I had fixed it oO

My french version is alright, I also tested the english version but I might have added something wrong, forgive me :/

Well this is fixed but the bug of the Planet Description (http://i.imgur.com/E8v6rKF.png) is very strange...

I think I will need some help here, I dont understand what the stupid window mean :/

But the game is playable, you will not have the new planet descriptions, thats all...

I found something else!

When you open a planet(In this case a Desolate planet), this happens! (It made me giggle :3 )

The game just doesn't seem to know what to do with it, and it locks up again, still not really playable.
