So just out of curiosity I tried the other two mods that are in yours, the localization for the Endless Diversity mod(The one with the planets) works fine. Maybe just try copying it over or something like that? Since the english one doesn't work in yours?

Well in fact at the very beginning the compilation was working perfectly.



I dont know what happened...



I tried your suggestion but it still doesnt work. Im trying something else, I hope it will work.



That is frustrating to be modder and to be stuccked by such a bug :/

I overwrote the localization folder, that didn't help(though it did restore the names of the planets? They're just still broken when you mouse over or click on them).



I then copied everything from the Endless Diversity mod over onto your mod and overwrote everything. That still didn't fix the problem. So it's something in your mod that's conflicting or breaking the extra content, it's nothing coming from Endless Diversity itself. I don't know if that's all that helpful but it's what I've been able to figure out.



Using the Endless Diversity mod on it's own -does- work, so it's something in the combined files or the files from your mod that's causing the issue.

Thank you for you support and for trying to find a solution by the way ^^



I overwrote nothing in fact. I only added thing and renamed XML files and localisations...



But in fact, the error was in the Index (where nobody search..)



The Endless Genetics Traits were replacing the Planet traits so It was not working ^^



Have fun playing this version smiley: smile



(I noticed I forgot to modify the Index file so it will be the Endless Diversity credits, dont worry i will change it soon smiley: stickouttongue)

Been testing it out and everything seems to work. Faction names are correct, descriptions are correct, planets work correctly. smiley: biggrin

I usually go with a custom faction using either Harmony affinity(because the whole approval mechanic just annoys me and heroes, meh), or Sheredyn affinity(because no retreating awyis).



As far as Aesthetics, anything that uses the United Empire or Sheredyn look is nice :3

I might soon. I'm using a really OP faction to test the stuff and get to the lategame really quickly.



Not seeing any errors so far and I'm up to being able to colonize toxic and carbon planets.

So I found a bug, of sorts.



When you rennovate the Endless Mine, Endless Library, or Endless Outpost... it doesn't actually tell you what those do.



Edit: Finished a game, that's the only thing I immediately spotted. There is a really weird AI behavior going on though-



Seems like as soon as they have them available, the AI will use Beams as weaponry regardless of any other factors. It makes it extremely easy to steamroll AI with Shield-protected ships.



They do seem to modify their defenses to match whatever weapons you have, but they only ever bring beams to battles. The only time you'll see Missiles or Kinetic weapons on ships is on ones that were made before beams were available. I dunno if the weighting is weird or what, just something I noticed.
