I thought of something that I think would be amazing.

Allowing you to take the Pirate Appearance for your faction. Their ships look so cool!

Unpacking the file into my mod folder will result in a mod called "A Galaxy of Endless Diversity" to show. Might have to rename the mod to prevent confusion.

Endless Genetics is integrated as well as lots of new races.

The new races will run their affinity lore story when starting a game. Might be better to tag em as "custom races" up front to prevent that sequence.

Got my first crash when looking through the new factions picture but was able to continue whithout a reload.

Currently 79 turns into a match no problems so far. What I find best so far is that you are able to face completely new opponents. That certainly spices things up

He mentioned it's mislabeled in an earlier post, probably fixed in the next upload. =p

Ye its still mislabeled but I fixed it dont worry

And ye, the introduction video and the loading screen for the factions is annoying but sadly Amplitude do not permit to mod them as far as I know and If I set my factions to "custom factions", u will never face them

(i think custom factions cant be picked by AI...)

I never saw that kind of crash, weird, I hope it will not happen again.

Thats what I feared well then, its nothing major and I certainly can live with it regarding how much more content I get

Well, Im working on the heroes and the new Faction, mythological one !

I plan to release this plus a little bugfix plus MAYBE Government traits...

Keep up the good work, it's a very nice mod, and I like playing the Imperium so far (not playing another race since I don't want to betray the Emperor) !

Can we get more Corporate/Administrator heroes? xD They're the ones I use most and they basically don't exist(Either that or I'm just incredibly unlucky).

Who did you get ?

Indeed, most of the added heroes are warriors/pilot, but some are administrator and corporate too ^^

I will make a full list of the added heroes

Hi,

It's my first post on the Amplitude forums, but i don't know how to solve a graphic problem i had with the mod AGED and then with the Endless mod.

First i want to congratulate the author of this mod (and those who made the other used mods)

Here is my problem : for all new graphics elements (new planet types, new factions illustrations, new heroes photos...), instead i have a red question mark on a white font.

I don't know if the problem comes from the mod or another thing, if somebody knows how to fix that, thanks for help.

I have no issue with the current version, in french or in english, I really dont know what is happening to you :/

Well, first : check you have Disharmony expansion (required)

2nd : Check you installed the game correctly (as explained in the first post)

3rd : Hang yourself if you dont find the solution

My current version of the game is Disharmony 1.1.42

The folder "the Endless mod" (with its content) is placed in documents/endless space/disharmony/modding

Here are some screenshots of the problem :

Somebody had the same problem on the AGED thread, but no solution to fix it.

My graphic drivers are updated.

This bug doesn't prevent me to play your mod, but its annoying for immersion.

So my friend... give me the rope!

Don't Worry for that, maybe it's not linked to your mod. I have exposed my problem for those who got the same.

I'll try with general discussions, and i will play your mod even with that bug... less pleasure but still pleasure

The bug is caused by differences in compression and decompression algorithms.

Compare the archiving software you used to Kingsguard's, and if its different, download and use the software that he used to compress the mod.

Unfortunatly i use Winrar too, but i use a "free version", means that i never bought it, the "40 days trial period" is over sins many years but it still works

Shall i buy it? Or shall i download maybe the latest version of winrar? I've got the 4.11... so I will try uninstalling it, than dowload the 5.10 (latest i think), install it and re-download the mod.

EDIT : I've tried but failed... with winrar 5.10 (64 bits) while uninstalling/reinstalling the mod, the problem is still the same. But thanks for your help Stealth Hawk.

I use RarFrog.
