Well, it always fixed the problem with the ship models I made for other modders. I always just assumed that it was due to a difference in compression.



However, I do know that it is something to do with the compression software. Maybe its just a problem with Winrar itself? I would try uncompromising it with 7zip

I have uncompressed the mod with 7zip, but nothing changes. I don't think the compression software is responsable.

Well, while your mod do seem to be interesting, BUT, I get that string error and I cannot see any new planet types, no new research, no description of new races, not anything that wasn't in the original game....

So i cannot try it out. Which makes me sad smiley: frown

Latest update? I don't know. I just clicked on the link in the OP, where he writes FINALLY or something next to it. Alpha 0002 or something. Is there another, more up to date link? I browsed through the whole comment section but could not find one.

That picture from another guy applies here (some pages ago). When you want to select the custom races, their name is weird, and no description. Other than that, I see no extra content when I start a game. No new planets, no new.. nothing new.

So for people who(probably) doesn't know who I am, I'm the Lead traductor from French to English of the Endless Mod, working with KingsGuard to bring you the best ES game experience so far!(I hope!)



If you're French(which is the language i'm translating in) and see error in my translation, don't hesitate to send me a Private message so I can correct my errors for the next version of the mod. Also, I'm what we could call some kind of box of ideas, so If you've got an Idea(Not just a suggestion, but a complete idea with a good custom faction and fluff, and ideas of ships also,) I will look at your suggestion, transmit it to Kings, then we will see if we can add it! By the way, it will add you in the credits of the Mod, for creating one of the custom factions!

I started back to work on the Government traits, here is the list of the 10 main traits : (sub-traits like Absolute Monarchy, Mercantilism or Aristocracy will follow)



(Each government has 1 major buff, 1 minor buff and 1 debuff.)



-Democracy (+10 approval, +2 system influence, +10% ship cost)

-Monarchy (-10% ship cost, +2 fleet command point, -10 approval)

-Theocracy (+2 system influence, +12 defence points by citizens on system, -10% science points)

-Republic (+10 approval, -20% on immediate construction with Dust of buildings, +25% of the support modules cost)

-Plutocracy (+20% dust on system, +1 trade route, -10% weight on ships)

-Oligarchy (-10% on dust heroes abilities cost, +1 science per citizens, -50% on luxury ressources)

-Empire (-25 % on weapons modules cost, -20% building industry cost, -10% on trade route efficiency)

-Communism (+1 industry on system per citizens, +1 maximum citizen on planet, -10% dust on system)

-Fascism (-20% ship cost, +1 fleet command point, -10 approval)

-Federation (+1 system influence, -25% cost of support modules, -10 approval by broken treaties)
