I am British/English, and wd have a real mix of influences:

1. pre-Roman Britons, with a heavy Celtic influence, even if there is more than a little doubt if the actual Celts migrated to these islands...

2. Romans

3. Germans (Angles, Saxons, Jutes, then the Hanoverians from 18th century onwards)

4. Danes/Norse, especially in the north of England (the Danelaw of old)

5. French (from late 11th through to the 14th century, the ruling class was largely francophone)

6. USA

I didn'f have space in my six slots for the Dutch, who were a major influence particularly in the 16th/17th centuries...

I'm lucky of living in Spain, so that I can name at least 1 culture for each age that has shaped the country and will be in Humankind (obviously not 100% sure about my choices for last 3 ages, but I think it's very probably they will be present)

Ancient: Phoenicians

Classical: Romans (also Carthaginians, Greeks, Celts and Goths)

Medieval:Umayyads (also Franks, Byzantines and Aztecs)

Modern: Spanish (duh)

Industrial: French

Contemporary: Europeans

I live in a region in sweden that have been danish for long periods of time.

1. Norse
2. Hansa
3. Danish
4. Swedish

and that is about it i couldnt really find 6. The cool thing is that you can see the hansa influence on alot of the baltic countrys, in food building and other such things, and it would be the culture of the once that i wrote which hasnt been announced which i would be the happiest to see included because of how many places it effected.
