Look right here on a twitter ad:

It says unlock and play as burkeblack. I knew I wasn't crazy for trying to play as the streamers i've unlocked. And the AD shows the avatar in BOTH areas.

It's because ofc we allow BurkeBlack to play as himself. It's not something anyone else but him can do.

And the ad say unlock + play, as in "play against", not "play as".

1.) Check if your received drops are listed here ( https://www.games2gether.com/amplitude-studios/humankind/drops/personas ) and shown as unlocked.

2a.) If the avatars are shown as locked (grayed out), go to your G2G Settings ( https://account.games2gether.com/account )

On the Settings page, if your Twitch account is linked, click the "refresh" button.

Reload the Webpage 1.) and now the avatars should show as unlocked.

2b.) If the avatars are shown as unlocked follow 3 and 4.

3.) Start the game, go to Extras > Community and make sure you are connected to G2G. There the avatars should be displayed. 

4.) If the avatars are no longer available in a running game (i.e. a save game), it is most likely because you are no longer connected to G2G. If you have this issue please repeat 3.)

5.) If you have activated the avatars of the streamers without drop via G2G Database, they will be displayed twice.

Once with values and properties and once without. Go to the persona database and remove the avatars without attributes and strengths from your collection.

The drop avatars will still remain and can be viewed via Extras > Community in the game itself, not on the Website. They are permanently bound to your account.
