Yes, you will have the update at the end of the month. The update will be until "Allen Newell" Patch 3 (the current one).
In terms of the DLC, unfortunately Cultures of Africa won´t be available for the moment.

Semi-semi related, WWZ just launched and is missing cross-play. IIRC, Humankind had a similar launch, where crossplay was listed as a feature during the pre-order period but ended up not actually existing.

In Humankind's case, I've been thinking that's because they couldn't keep patch parity. Obviously you can't play with players on a different patch than you. Wonder if WWZ has the same issue.

Thank you for the update. Please may I ask that the version number is displayed on the main title page as it is on other platforms? On Stadia there is no version number anywhere. Thank you very much!

Why will there be no DLC or further content will not be provided? This is clearly a massive cut for the game and us players who are waiting for exactly this kind of game. 

I was always against it, but you can't leave your customers out in the cold like this. But at least you should offer accommodating refunds or exchange in other other platform. 

So sad what happens here.

I mean, if it comes down to it Stadia only gets the base version and bug fixes. Tell the people. The game has been out for 8 months now. Time to share it and/or take the game out of the store.

These games live on expansions, events, DLCs. Years of support. The brand is burned on the platform.

Be honest with the players and try to win back the trust. Even if it's hard or contracts should prevent it. 

All better than the current state.

You will be able to get the DLC, but later on. Once I have more info about a specific date I will let you know.

New Bolivar update and here we are. Full paid Stadia players not even getting the previous update..

What can we as players do about this?

Nothing yet.

You can check pretty easily by going to make a new game and checking if the turn limit is still an end condition for the default ending conditions.

I just realized we can't link our account to redeem any of the digital extras (like additional wonders) either.

Unfortunately, we're talking about the Jigonhsasee and Allen Newell updates here (released to Steam between December and February). I imagine it will be a few months yet before the Vitruvian updates are ready for Stadia.

Doesn't look like the update has gone through yet, 5 days into may.

Hey Stadia players,

Unfortunately, we have some bad news. During the certification process, we encountered a potential problem. We’re investigating whether or not we can release the patch with this problem, and are waiting to hear back from Google on this.

This means we won’t be able to meet our original target release date (last week) for the patch, and we cannot announce a new release date yet. We will keep you posted as we receive more information.
