Agreed, what I hoped for with the event was an introduction to all-year carnival of quirky themed personas to play against. Does she even add some customization parts to play with or is it literally just a single preset?

Thank you for confirming this. I too hoped it would be a new AI persona to add variety to the games. The challenges look quite tricky and time consuming so I dont think its worth it just for a skin for my character.

Another good reason to let us make our own roster of AI personas!

If you go for a pacific blitz where instead of ending the game you just select "continue playing" you can then just take all the time in the world to make most of the challenges

have you guys tried using the "skin" to build your own avatar using AOM personas mod?

also, try to be more appreciative when you are provided with free content

For the record, where are you all seeing Catrina?  The game says I unlocked her, but I don't see her anywhere in the game options.

that's the point, you can just use it as a skin for your persona, is not an I.A. Persona that you can play against

That is really disappointing. I hope, they add her in a future patch like Lucy or Edgar.

The persona system in general is in need of a major overhaul more akin to the aforementioned mod, as well as making the traits something the player can actually use. All that effort to unlock traits we can't even use. :< 

Well, I jumped all hoops only to "claim" the skin but not actually receive it and have it available in presets.

Yeah. I thought it was going to be an AI persona to play against. I already have my own avatar: I don't need an additional pre-made one.

Looks like me and plays like me (Focus on Industry, try to get all Luxury Resources and wants to make his people happy).

Wish I had checked this sooner. Finally got it unlocked today and I thought there was a bug since she didn't show up in Personas when I tried to start a new game. Kinda disappointed she's not an AI and only a skin.

Stats are based off of the event requirements and, vaguely off of La Calavera Catrina origins as a political satire cartoon.

So this is a megalopolist ai given the lover bias since no other default ai has it (I think). Their strengths are glutton and charmer to aid their megalopolist playstyle. They're cruel to motivate production rush with population, and loyal introverts for thematic reasons.
Introvert was chosen over extrovert to enhance the effect from loyal, so they'll be loyal allies with a few even though their lover bias will (hopefully) make them somewhat popular with most.
