"Turn Pending"

Just downloaded the game today. Can't seem to get past turn 4 or 5 without the game freezing. The turn meter keeps flashing "Turn Pending." Happened multiple times. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the game. Same problem. FYI, I'm running Windows 10.

I have a similar issue on turn 72 --> 73 that I can reproduce from my turn 72 save even after restarting the game. I also have 2 notifications that happen and can be acknowledged but infinitely chain into one another. Huns Turn 72.ctr

When I tried to load directly with the resume button I was met with this error. Going back a save or two the game then hung again at 502. Interestingly, my steam achievements say I have only play 501 turns making me think that 502 isn't being registered at all maybe.

I had this as well at turn 194. Restarting the game does not fix it. I tried earlier saves, and it started occuring at 193 and 192.

I'm having the same issue on Turn 77.  Here is a save that shows the issue.  auto-save 55.ctr

I've also included a save that was saved when this issue was supposed to happen and whenever I try to reload it I get an exception and it doesn't load.  May be related to the same issue. broken.ctr

I resolved it by deleting the save files of the corrupted one (the first playthrough that this happened) and the rest functioned well.

Same here, across two different games. It's kinda frustrating, not gonna lie. Really hope they fix this sooner rather than later.

Also myself. 

Turn 99 hangs with turn pending. 

Reloaded 98 & tried ending vs not ending siege, different trades, but always hangs. 

Restarted game & pc but still the same. 

Have attached the save at turn 98, pressing next turn will cause the hang. Mongols Turn 98.ctr

I got the games pending on turn 201  went back a few saves  and did some testing.  for me this is happening when I build the robots factory for the first time. If I do not build it the games does not freeze up until I do.

Well there goes my theory I just started a brand new game and got the pending Turn issue after turn 1.    not good guys

Same here. I stuck during turn 184 to 185. Also, I tried reloading the save, a single turn played, and it happened again once I ended turn 185. (Steam, PC, Windows 10)

managed to bandaid the problem by doing quicksave/quickload but this is not a good solution when you have to do it every single turns.

I had this happen about 30 turns before game end, just before I completed the Nuclear Fusion test.


I received the following error:

Loading an earlier save and trying again does nothing.  The game hangs at the same spot, regardless.

What a horrible way to lose two days of progress.  :(

UPDATE:  I went back to a previous turn autosave and instead of doing all of the previous turn actions, I simply idled every unit and pushed the next turn.  It went through without a hitch.


I don't know if it's significant, but I used the Chinese emblem artillery to bomb a city to destruction that turn, and I wonder if destroying the city that way had a cascading effect?
