Looks good, man. Greeks were usually only remembered in their ancient days, but giving them modern-er rep would be intresting. Looks like a comeback culture designwise.

Do you guys think the cultures that are here but are not on the google doc from the other thread, should be added to it?

If they want to add it, let people add it themselves, methinks.

Hey :p If you look the first page of the thread, I made a Balkan culture card a long time ago. For the fun btw -> I think than indivually design the different culture of this region like you made is better than the culture "blob" I suggested. Well, it's rather old, because I didn't know the timeframe of the Eras at this time, and I suggested Early Modern, when Industrial Era is definitly more fitting, as you suggest for Greeks !

So, why I am speaking you about that ... Because I suggested the "tower houses" as Emblematic Quarter,  and if you look at the reference, it seems than the Maniot Tower belong to that big family of tower houses present in the balkan ! In term of choice for your greek culture, I think it could be nice, as a sort of fortified farmer quarter or fortified hamlet, which give some additional range to the units standing on it ??

Same with the Haidouk, I got the idea of this card because a serbian on discord was thinking than haidouk was an exclusive singularity of Serbian culture... But this "movement" was shared by several countries of the balkan. Still, Greeks didn't use the word Haidouk even if they had similar role, but Klephtes, which in comparisons of the haidouks are an emblematic figure of european litteratures in this period (like french, or british literature) so Klephtes could be an interesting unit too for your card ?^^

Your legacy trait, and affinity choices are good. I would probably choose something similar.

But another idea would be to make them aesthete (revival of Philhellenism everywhere in europe, a lot of interest in their war for freedom, and a bunch of support against ottomans empire...etc), and maybe a Quarter about that. A sort of villa with an architecture of the period to welcome foreign diplomats and academics ? To have a bit some bonus like modern Egyptians (which are about interest in egyptology, and passionate archaeologist from everywhere who come to help  etc ...) and their archeological dig and influence bonus.

Another idea would be merchant, to reference the strong greek maritime tradition, the pirate tradition (like the heroic lady which transformed her merchant ships into pirate ships to attack ottomans), and the shipowners who are the primary source of wealth. -> With a sort of Legacy Trait which grant money bonus on empires per any owned ships ??

Yeah I was surprised that someone could make a Greek culture after the Medieval Era, because much of their history after the fall of the Byzantine Empire, was under the Ottomans, and it wasn't until recently that they have become an independent nation again.

Alright, that google doc seems to have fallen into disuse anyway. It's a shame really, but I think I got people to switch to just posting in the thread itself instead.

A small and not very wealthy kingdom on the outskirts of Europe. A country living at war - and at war in order to live.

Sweden became a martial art phenomenon of the 17th century, and although the moment of its glory was not so long, the world will forever remember the gloomy northerners in blue uniforms, which have become one of the hallmarks of Early modern Era.

The Swedish Empire is a historical term for the kingdom of Sweden and its possessions from 1611 to 1721. During this time Sweden was one of the great European powers. In Swedish, the period of the empire is called "stormaktstiden", "The era of great power."

Gameplay: units have +3 strength when attacking; barracks, tournament fields and a military academy give 125 production and 125 science

Hakkapelity - Finnish light cavalry in the service of King Gustav Adolphus in Sweden during the Thirty Years War (1618-1648).

The Hakkapelites were highly trained cavalrymen who excelled in surprise and daring attacks, raids, and reconnaissance. One of the advantages of the fast and lightly armored cavalry of the Haccapelites was their equipment. Typically, the weaponry of the haccapelites included a sword, helmet, leather armor, or steel breastplate. They attacked at full gallop, firing the first pistol shot in twenty steps, the second in five steps, and then switching to the sword and engaging in close combat. The horse itself also played a role in combat, crushing enemy infantry ranks.

Gameplay:

Unit type: cavalry

Ability: Pistol (fires a shot before attack)

The indelta system is a system of settlement maintenance of the army and navy that existed in Sweden in the 17th-20th centuries.

Since the days of Gustav Vasa, Swedish kings have been thinking about how to create a strong, quickly mobilized and low-cost army. King Charles XI in 1680 replaced periodic recruiting with a permanent duty of peasants to maintain the personnel of the royal army (allotment system Then the land in Sweden and Finland was divided into plots (indelts), in which groups of peasant households were allocated, called "roteholl" : each of these groups had to send one soldier to the king and bear the cost of his maintenance.

Gameplay: Count as "Farmers Quarter" ; infantry units can "settle" in the area: the population spent on the production of a unit returns to the city and becomes specialists, but if necessary, the unit can be instantly called up to war.

I just wanted to point that someone on the forums has made this Youtube video pitching making the Etruscans a playable culture. Perhaps he can help get some more attention to some of our suggestions as well.

I've also posted a message about this on this video on the Community Culture Thread to have them covered as well.

First I just wanted to thanks everybody for all those very interesting suggestions which we realize represent such an amount of work. I can assure you that while we are investigating and designing new cultures for future content, all your suggestions have been taken into account, and some of them gave us really good ideas. Of course I cannot say more at the moment, but thanks again, and don’t hesitate for further ones, we are always happy to hear from you.

Happy to find out the discussion . My point of view is that while we searching new culture or designing it for future content as discussed by paper writing service, it is always needs to keep in mind that such kind should have a positive impact on society. Otherwise user can utilize it in wrong purpose and create negative impact on societal culture.
