I have the same issue in single player mode. 100+ turn and no civics unlocked :(. I'll create a thread with attachements later.

I have the same issue. Though its not necessarily the host.

It seems only 1 player in a MP session can get civics. (Presumed first player to get one)

seems like host will have them 100%

Same problem.. only host and sometimes 1-2 players got it... noone else

in that game I also had 3 civics, so not only host, but still, civics triggers are not working.

Same, civics not working for the host player in my game.

there is the same problem when playing with 10 people and when playing with 4 people. Didn't try to play online again

however, if you play in an open lobby, the institution tree appears as it should. Could the problem be related to closing the lobby (for friends) ?

In order for us to fully investigate this issue we need the following:

- Your last two auto-saves, and any other saves you think may help show the problem. Your saves are by default located:

o PC: \Users\[username]\Documents\Humankind\Save Files

o Mac: This is hidden in the Libraries folder. You will need to do an internet search to find specific steps for your OS. Once the libraries folder is revealed, they are in /library/ application support/humankind/Save Files

I propose today our community plays game till 50 turn(should be enough?) and, if no civics triggered as should, then post those files here.

This issue exists also in the single player. E.g. none of the religion civics appeared so far for me (I am in the third cultural era now), although I already reached the third stage of my religion and unlocked the third tenet. I even had a civic appearing in one of my saves at around turn 60 (forgot which one it was), that I never got triggered again, after continuing the game at an earlier save at turn 55, I have not seen this or any other civic appearing since then and am now in turn 90.

We played 10 slots today: 3 players, 7 АI. 2 players had a tree of social institutions open, I didn't open it for 63 moves. I was the last to choose the civilizations of the Ancient World. Is it really a bug or a feature that the one who chooses the last civilization plays without social institutions?

can it be because of someone in lobby has installed "Humankind - Closed Beta" game in library of Steam?

Seems unlikely.  I have the same bug, but my beta is uninstalled and I haven't had it in previous games.
