i guess "no map editor" just means you can't manually edit maps, but the random generator works fine?

yes, map editor is what allow to make your own handmade maps, but the standard is to use the random generator

After talking to the producers to confirm which patch version was released on Stadia, I can now tell you that yesterday's patch is the equivalent of Patch 1.0.2.139 on PC, plus some additional improvements for the touch controls. We're working to port the latest PC patch to Stadia, but I do not have an estimate on when it will be ready. Unfortunately, patches after that will likely still be later and less frequent compared to the PC version, as we work with our partners to ensure the best quality port of these patches rather than risking a bad patch.

Thanks for the answer.

Unfortunately, it still makes me a little angry that this information was not mentioned at the time of purchase. Deleted features and poor support for the Stadia platform would have made me more likely to buy the Steam version. Now I can't even return the game to switch platforms.

I am very disappointed.

Thank you for the update. I do still see this as good news, and I hope it works out well. This relationship with partners doing Stadia patches could possibly improve over time. For future patches, maybe Stadia will eventually start to get them more promptly. And maybe if it works well, Amplitude could start porting some of their other games to Stadia also. I would love to be able to play Dungeon of the Endless, Endless Space 2, Endless Legend, and Endless Dungeon on Stadia. I suppose I'm an optimist.

Thank you for the update. This is disappointing information but also confirms what we suspected we weren't on the latest patch despite information stating All Platforms, which is still there on the patch notes.

ANy updates on this? Also some notes on what to expect going forward would be great. Stadia Humankind updates will be delayed by Months? Weeks? Days?

Based on on the 3 weeks it took for Stadia to get the previous patch probably on the order of 2 weeks to over a month depending on the size or complexity of the patch they hand off to the devs porting it.

I didn't expect Stadia to be a priority patching wise, and it makes sense they hired an external team to handle it which comes with process/overhead, and I appreciate Cat at least telling us what's going on even if it's after the fact. What really annoys me is this is more withheld information that would have impacted my purchase. I was pissed when I found out crossplay and custom maps were cut from Stadia (oh sorry, should I have checked your Twitter a week before release to see if promised features changed?). Would have just bought the game for the same price on GFN. Well, lesson learned. Don't buy Amplitude titles until they're in the bargain bin.

You can get a refund for the stadia-version.

I already get it some days before.

Was no problem.

I personally understand everyone trying to get a re-fund due to the situation. But in the end at least I made a decision for myself to buy the game on Stadia and focussing on Stadia going forward.

I think lowering the user base by re-funding won't help to improve the situation...at least if you are still interested in getting the advantage Stadia is providing (in general as a platform).

Just my 2 cents.

+1

The better solution is to fix the port rather than abandon the platform. Cyberpunk is pretty much on the same update schedule on Stadia as it is on all other platforms. So it's not the platform's fault.

Yeah it is sad, but I agree with you. I bought both GFN and Stadia, but will not refund the Stadia version since I will eventually play the Stadia one. If I want to play HK on TV, Stadia is only reasonable option. :/ My God, I have an iPad too but the direct touch is only available on Android.

This is not Stadia's fault, when patches come they are applied. This has been seen in Cyberpunk and Baldur's Gate 3, the situation comes from Amplitude and their deal with the studio responsible for the Stadia port. There is a reason why Stadia users should not get every little patch, because for that Amplitude / Sega would have to commission the other studio and they want to see money for it. That makes you, as a Stadia user, a third-class user.

I've been waiting for it too, it was actually my main reason for buying Humankind for Stadia. And then somewhere in the fine print you read that Direct Touch is not yet available on IOS. Google is silent on the subject.

So is there some kind of policy in place to refund people who don't agree with the fact that you sell the game at full price and then treat us like second hand customers? I'm outside of the official refund policy so I can't get a refund directly from Google, but I think you can understand people are less than pleased when they give you 60 euro's to hear they basically shouldn't have bought it if they want full support...

So what's going on with the update? Another week without news. Google support refuses a refund. So I can't even switch platforms.

I don't think there's much more to come, we were told that a patch is on the way, but we don't know when. Mission accomplished.

It is and remains a very weak number. It's not my problem if the game sells worse on Stadia as hoped. I am now annoyed that I bought the game for Steam again, runs perfectly for Amplitude, equal to double profit per customer abkassieren.

It’s been 20 days from the 1.0.3 release at PC. Any updates? You have a duty and authority to monitor when contracting out something :(
