The fix we were testing turned out to still have problems, which is why it has not been released to the main update branch.

But the fix would most likely not be retroactive in either case, since your savegame includes the bugged game state.

The firing rate issues should be fixed in the PatchPreview. Unfortunately, that version is not ready for full release, as we are still investigating compatibility issues between the metaplot quest and certain academy settings.

For clarity: Are you using the hotfix beta or not? We've been trying to solve compatibility issues between certain academy expansion settings and the metaplot quest.

This is most likely caused by a compatibility issue between certain settings for Academy Expansion and the metaplot. We're already working on and testing a fix, but I do not have an estimate when it will release yet. Should be within the next two weeks, if nothing goes terribly wrong.

Yes, we're aware of the issue. Unfortunately, we did not manage to implement a fix in time for yesterday's patch. The fix for this should be included in the upcoming patch with some Awakening fixes.

We have the fix for this and a few other bugs being tested, to be released either today or tomorrow.

Sorry to say, there is unfortunately no official Italian localization for Endless Space 2. It shouldn't be selectable as an option in the Gamepass version.

The download that happened today may have been the ES2 Artbook. There were some problems with the Artbook DC before that stopped it from properly downloading even when you had it checked.
