How to tell if cloaked ships have been revealed? 6 years ago

So I'm about 100 turns into my first game at the Umbral Chior (mind you I just bought the game about 4 days ago. So far I freaking love it) and I'm a bit annoyed with the cloaked mechanics.

Only a few turns ago did I finally discover where I can tell if a system is undected, which is super helpful. However I cannot for the life of me figure out how to tell that with ships.

Is there any kind of indication to tell you if other players can see your ships? Or at the very least to tell you if enemy ships have detectors?

It seems really unfair to make it so you have no way to tell if your ships can be seen or not. Especially since you CAN tell with your systems.

Ground Combat Bug? 6 years ago

Whenever I try to invade a planet the results screen gets bugged and shows a bunch of nonsense. I dont know if the combat itself got bugged or just the results.

This is what it shows (its in Spanish): I cant see numbers of the enemy forces, according to this both my troops and foes are Blitzs, and some of the text is bugged as well.

Then I get the screen that says that the pirate base has been destroyed, but it is still there.

Economy Scan View bug? 6 years ago

Hello,

I'm not sure if this has been reported, but I recently picked up the game again and it seems the "Economy View" that you can access by zooming out in the general galaxy view and press the Scan button it not working properly. After zooming out from the "System Scan" view, it should go into the "Economy View" but it does not display the appropriate information. It seems its just "copying" the "Trade Scan" view (accessed by continuying to zoom out) as if it just skips that economic view screen. 

I assume this is a bug, correct? Or am I missing something? I remember having access to this view in which I could get a summaried information through these pixelated areas representing FIDS.

Discovering sleeper agents 6 years ago

So I'm starting to just now realise that you can uncover sleeper agents on your system from traces, but I'm not sure what it is about the trace that uncovers a sleeper, or when, for that matter.

Any insight on uncovering sleepers would be appreciated. Up until this point I figured it was pointless to try and place sleepers on enemy systems, but maybe I'm just being a bad spy boss and accidentally reveal all of my spies to the enemy.

I just downloaded all the free updates and finished downloading every purchased add-on required for the game as to being I really liked the game and now I am having this issue

How do you detect UC sanctuaries? 6 years ago

I am playing as riftborn and my friend sanctuary bombed my constellation as I was expanding onto it. So now I have sleepers everwhere. How do I counter this? I see the reveal sleepers, but what else can I do?

Critical error when start game 6 years ago

Bought the latest DLC from steam today, but not able to start the game now, was able to start game before and I played 143 hrs already.

tried uninstall and re-install，

tried reboot windows and checked firewall rules,

tried uninstall all add-ons (from steam workshop)，

tried start with admin mode,

tried everything I could, NOTHING WORKS

I have to consider if the latest DLC got fatal bug, so fatal to start the game.

Any ideas?

I'll admit I'm probably not the best player when it comes to ES2, and I've had particular trouble when trying to play the Sophons main quest. I get stuck very early on trying to- for instance- increase military support in 3 of my systems by 30%, as is required by one of the quest options. I've tried constructing ships and military improvements to no avail. Do I really have to go to war or have militarists as an active political party to achieve this? Am I doing it wrong?

So ive been trying to hack anyting but it wont connect with anyting it just tells me path does not compute. ive tried multiple new games but well im out of ideas dont know if its a bug or some setting i have to mess with any ideas or troubleshooting would be helpful.

In the shadows, Riftborn sanctuary bug. 6 years ago

I have come across a bug with custom factions, it seems if you have the Riftborn visual affinity, and the In the shadows gameplay affinity. when you try to populate the sanctuaries by constructing populations, it does not populate the sanctuaries making them incompatible which is a shame cause I was so excited to combo the two together. I had used a minor population to fix this but after a patch now it tells me In the shadows in the incompatible with minor civilizations. 

Is this intentional? or something to be fixed?
