That is a valid point, and I can see the interest of such a request. However, development on Dungeon of the Endless all but wrapped up, so we're not implementing any new features at this time.

At Amplitude, the teams working on each project are different.

As you might know, the core DotE team is only made of 4 people, so we've had to prioritise. Over the summer, we focused on porting DotE to iPad and Xbox One, completely new platforms to us, which might explain why we've been pretty quiet (and very busy). We're slowly returning to the PC version, with the bug fixes we've worked on, but also the content that was created by the community (the organic pod, the hero and the mob) and maybe more.

We'll keep you posted.

Unfortunately, we don't plan on adding a multiplayer mode (even the one you can find on the PC version) for technical reasons.

You're right about the formula (currently: Skill Level x Turns Left x 3).

And yes, for some skills, the increase seems too strong.

We'll see if we can think of a better formula (but it needs to stay global) or maybe improve these particular skills...

Hi,

I think we generally agree with your remarks

We updated the skills in this direction for the release (/#/dungeon-of-the-endless/forum/46-general/thread/17581-dote-relase-notes see balancing).

But some of them can still be considered as *slightly* underpowered ^^. Yes, Paramedic for example needs a buff, and there should be one in a future update.

We decided to avoid having skills with a cooldown of 1 turn, because we want the player hesitating not only to wonder “is it the right moment to use it in the turn?” but also “is it the right turn to use it? (Or is the next one will be harder, for example)”.

It wasn't our intention to put the skills in DotE at the core of the gameplay. As EndlessRunner said, they are only a part of the elements that constitute a hero. For some of them, skills are really important in their gameplay, for others, not so much. I think we have unique heroes when you take into account all characteristics of each, even if there are some skill repetitions

As you can see in this list, most of your suggestions are on our to-do list!

Improved network code: we're working on that since the release. There are significantly less disconnections since the last patch (January 20th) but with Internet, it can't never be totally avoid...

Save and load games: yes, it's our current task

Access to games in progress: it's a big feature to implement but we will try to find a way to do it.

Saved materials and research: we plan to give at least a way to get the resources, the items and the heroes of disconnected players

Shared research AND Shared resources: we understand your remarks and we're already testing several configurations. The split of the resources and researches aren't perfect but allow to create more "active" choices and avoid some very selfish behaviours (particularly with Food). But we're still debating on the subject and will maybe add some options. We also want to work on better tools to exchange and communicate

Item exchange feature AND Private game: ones of our priority tasks!
